The Utah chapter is where Girls Gone Hiking was born. What began on Rattlesnake Gulch in Millcreek Canyon in 2025 has grown into a community rooted in connection, confidence, and showing up for one another — on and off the trail.

Park at the Bell Canyon Preservation Trailhead. There is a smaller parking lot that AllTrails will try to take you to right past the mouth of Little Cottonwood, but it fills up really quickly. The Bell Canyon Preservation Trailhead is much bigger and a bit less of a climb. Parking is free!

Bring your pups and join us for a morning hike through Millcreek Canyon to Pipeline Overlook! Enjoy beautiful views, fresh mountain air and a fun morning with other women and their furry friends.

Let’s meet in front of the Einstein Bagels on 3923 S Wasatch Blvd Salt Lake City, UT 84124 at 8:15 AM and carpool up to the trailhead together! This will help with limited trailhead parking and allow us to skip the $5 canyon fee per vehicle. Please arrive on time so we can start hiking at 8:30 AM. Dogs are welcome so please make sure your pup is comfortable riding with others if you plan to carpool.

Special notes
This is a moderate hike with some uphill sections but we’ll keep a comfortable pace and take breaks as needed. Dogs are welcome but must remain leashed throughout the hike. November mornings can be chilly so dress warmly and come prepared for possible snow or ice. Trail conditions will be checked closer to the date, and the hike may be adjusted or canceled if conditions are unsafe.
