Step into adventure
Explore beautiful trails with a community that feels like friends. All paces, all levels, all women — come as you are.
Who we are
A community for women who'd rather not hike alone.
Girls Gone Hiking started with a simple idea in Utah in 2025: get outside with a handful of women and see what happens. One year and 26 hikes later, that casual idea had become a real, lasting community — and it is now growing far beyond Utah.
Different cities, different trails, same mission: get more women outside, together.
Read our story“I showed up to my first hike knowing absolutely no one, and by the time we got back to the cars I had plans for the next weekend.”

Two states, one community
And we're looking to expand
Want Girls Gone Hiking in your state?
Tell us where you are. When enough women in one place raise their hands, that's how a new chapter begins.
How to join
Three small steps, and you're one of us.
Step 1
Create your account
Everyone hikes with an account now. It holds your waiver, your emergency contact and every spot you claim — set it up once.
Step 2
Claim your spot
Pick a hike, sign our waiver once, and arrive a few minutes early. You don't need to know anyone — that's the whole point.
Step 3
Stay connected
Join your chapter's Telegram group for weather calls, carpools, and the last-minute plans that turn into the best days.
We have hikes for every level
