π Saturday, August 8, 2026
β° 6:30 AM (early start is intentional β see below!)
π Brighton Ski Resort β park anywhere in the lot (free in summer)
π₯Ύ 6.0 miles, hard difficulty
π« No dogs on this one
π₯ Limited to 6 hikers β RSVP required
π΅ Free!
What to bring: 3L of water and sun protection, this is a big one, come prepared.
Important safety notes:
We're hiking during monsoon season, so we're starting early and aiming to be off the peak by noon to avoid afternoon storms. Please be on time!
Early morning + high country means a chance of running into wildlife like moose (stay alert and keep your distance).
This trail starts at high elevation. Altitude sickness is real if you're not acclimated (stay hydrated and bring electrolytes).
This is a hard hike for hikers ready for a bigger effort, come prepared, come on time, and let's get up and down safely together!
