Ever hiked the backside of Brighton? Most people haven't β€” and that's exactly what makes this one special.

We're heading to Blood Lake Trail in the Bonanza Flat Conservation Area for an early morning alpine hike with big views, wildflowers, and the kind of quiet you can only find at 6:30am in the mountains. No actual blood required. 🩸

What to Expect
Alpine terrain on a well-maintained packed dirt trail. Great views, open meadows, wildflowers, and a solid chance of wildlife sightings (moose territory β€” eyes open!). Some fallen trees along the route, but nothing that slows you down.

What to Bring

  • Water

  • Light jacket (mornings are cool up there)

  • Hiking boots or sturdy shoes

  • Snack for after

  • Bug spray + sunscreen

  • Good vibes and happy morning energy β˜€οΈ

Parking Note: Parking is free if you're out before 8am. After 8am, it's $10 (Park City managed lot). Plan to wrap up before then β€” and with a 6:30 start + 2 hour hike, you should be golden.

Dogs: Welcome on this one! 🐾
