June 20, 2026 | 9:00 AM start

Two lakes, one trail, and some of the most beautiful scenery in Northern Utah. This hike takes us deep into Logan Canyon, starting at Tony Grove Lake and winding through forests and alpine meadows before opening up to White Pine Lake at elevation. It's the kind of trail that feels like a reward the whole way through.

The Details

  • πŸ“ Logan Canyon / Tony Grove, Utah

  • πŸ“ 7.7 miles out and back

  • πŸ“ˆ 1,391 ft. elevation gain

  • ⏱ 4–5 hours on trail

  • πŸ’ͺ Moderate

What to Expect A steady, moderate climb with some steeper sections, nothing you can't handle. Expect some muddy or snowy patches due to elevation, especially earlier in the season. We hike at a supportive, no-pressure pace. You'll know everyone's name before you hit the trailhead.

What to Bring Water, snacks, layers, and trail-appropriate footwear. Hiking poles are optional but helpful on the steeper or slippery sections.

Parking We meet at Tony Grove Lake, $15 day-use fee (or free with America the Beautiful Pass). Parking fills up fast on weekends, so carpooling is strongly encouraged. Carpool coordination details will be shared in your confirmation email.

Dogs Welcome, on leash only. 🐾
